Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This is a draft policy provided as a starting template — have it reviewed by legal counsel before launch to ensure it meets applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

1. Membership Cancellations

You can cancel a membership at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing, and you'll retain access to the membership until the end of your current billing period.

We generally do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law.

2. Digital Content & Services

Paid content — such as posts, videos, downloads, and digital products — is generally non-refundable once it has been accessed or downloaded, since it cannot be "returned."

If content is materially different from its description, inaccessible due to a platform error, or not delivered as promised, contact support and we'll review the case for a refund or credit.

Requests for booked services (such as 1:1 calls) that are cancelled by the creator, or not delivered, are eligible for a refund.

3. Live Event Tickets

Event ticket refunds follow the cancellation window set by the creator for that event, shown at the time of purchase.

If a creator cancels or fails to hold a scheduled event, ticket holders are eligible for a full refund.

Refund requests made after the event has occurred are generally not eligible, except in cases of significant technical failure on our part.

4. Dispute Process

If you believe you're owed a refund outside of the cases above, contact support@ownly.studio with your order details and a description of the issue.

We review disputes on a case-by-case basis and aim to respond within a few business days. Where a refund involves a creator's earnings, we may reach out to the creator for additional context before resolving the dispute.

Chargebacks filed without first contacting support may result in a temporary hold on your account while the dispute is reviewed.
